AMBASSADOR FOR LIFE

Luca Bracali began his carreer of photographer and journalist in 1986 as a envoy for sports news organizations during motocross, motogp and formula 1 international cup. During his career he made a lot of services for travel news, culture and tourism; he published 13 volumes. Over 27 years of reporteges he visited 140 countries.
His attention, on environment thematic like ice melting and global warming, is concretized with images shotted in the Antarctica and Arctic. Throughout fotographic projects he works with polar researchers of university of Fairbanks in Alaska and with the base of Barneo, point of start of an eco-expedition.

The photographic travelling isn’t only made of beatiful images but more that it, an experience based on know, percept and join the culture of place explored.

In 2009 on the ski at North Pole. Luca begun one of first to access to the Svalbard Global Seed Vault in the Svalbard island. Thanks to those expeditions documenting in more of 40 radiophonic and television trasmissions, he become member of APECS (Association Young Polar Scientist) and after he collaborated with IASC ( International Artic Science Commitee).
In 2010 Bracali debutted as artist and his pics are exposed at Rome, Milan, Naples, Boloign, Sofia, Kiev, Odessa, Copenhagen, Hofn, Bruxelles, Yangon, Montreal and New York spreading his concept of image: a geometric composition with saturated color and the light is one of the essential elements. Luca Bracali works hard also in the television field: SKy, Rai 1, Rai 2 and Rai 3.
He is photograph professor at Lorenzo de Medici and at The Darkroom in Florence, he’s teached photografy at Academy curses of Canon and then become “ambassador” for Fujifilm.
His most important show, Arctic under attack, it has been exposed in April of 2017 in the European Parliament. The Minor Planet Center of Cambridge (USA) nominated the 198.616° asteroid discovered in his name.
For Bracali the photographic travelling isn’t only made of beatiful images but more that it, an experience based on know, percept and join the culture of place explored.
Travelling to photograph doesn’t mean just take a shoot, but means also live.
