The Barry Foundation is in Mantigny in Switzerland and it deals with the preservation of Saint Bernard, the most famous canine breed in the area. It seems easier to enjoy the nature with these kind travel companions. Luca Bracali visited the Foundation and there he met its four-legged guests. Barry Foundation was born in 2005 acquiring St. Bernard of Colle Gran St. Bernard’s famous shelters, it is the oldest animal farms for this breed of dog. Historically it was very careful in maintaining a high level of breed selection. This rearing method won the acknowledgment of Certodog, a prestigious certificate for exemplary rearing, and the identification of help to the public. Inside this wonderful place we find the Musée et Chiens du Saint-Bernard, an important meeting point for the four-legged guests and the community; visitors can admire, pet and play with St. Bernard dogs. Since November 2016, there is a specific area dedicated to the history of Saint Bernards with games and interactive instruments, called Barry Family. Everybody who wants to live an unmatched experience can book an excursion with “the Barries” to explore nature with these large Swiss dogs.
